HOPEHIV is a member of the Fundraising Standards Board, the self-regulatory body for fundraising in the UK. This means that we have committed to adhere to the Institute of Fundraising’s Codes of Fundraising Practice and the Fundraising Standards Board’s Fundraising Promise.
Among other things, we are committed to being honest and open
- We tell the truth and do not exaggerate
- We do what we say we are going to do
- We answer all reasonable questions about our fundraising activities and costs
We hope we will never give cause for complaint but if you do wish to complain in the first instance please contact our Complaints Coordinator, Steve Maile, on 020 8288 1196 or admin@hopehiv.org. We will make a record of your complaint and do our best to resolve it with you. If you are not satisfied with our response you may contact the Fundraising Standards Board. The complaints process is explained here along with the kinds of complaint the Board will and will not consider.
