HOPEHIV was registered as a charity and a company limited by guarantee in February 2000. The Directors of the Company also act as trustees of the charity. The Board meet quarterly in London and are responsible for the overall governance of the charity including the allocation of funding grants to our project partners in Africa. Currently the Board comprises nine members.

HOPEHIV is externally audited by Hawsons Chartered Accountants and submits annual returns to both the Charity Commission and Companies House.
