

In 2004 Phil Wall, HOPEHIV's founder, inspired a group of budding leaders at Barclays to make a difference to the thousands of children we work with. Their response was overwhelming. Not content just to raise money via the 10/10 Challenge, they turned their annual "Lead to Win" dinner into a charity ball. Through the sale of tickets, a fantastic charity auction and a superbly organised event they managed to raise £32 000 in one night! They have now announced ongoing support for HOPEHIV and we are looking forward to developing a long partnership together.

City trading firm Mako Global has just announced plans for their second "Dealing for Donations Day" to be held on the 13th October 2005. Last year they raised a phenomenal £100 000 for HOPEHIV in one day's trading with donations and commissions from as wide afield as Europe and the USA. Dave Segel, CEO of Mako Global, attributes their success to doing what they do best in order to make a difference. Bristol based IT company Add Momentum decided to take up the 10/10 Challenge to facilitate inter-departmental team building and leadership development. Several teams were given seed capital with the challenge to multiply it as much as possible. From raffles, to fundraising web pages to a group of 4 who are competing in the 15 Peaks Challenge at the end of June, this company has gone creative with their fundraising
