INVOLVING YOUR SCHOOL

SEP logoHOPEHIV recently launched its groundbreaking schools initiative, the Social Entrepreneurs Project.

For young people in the UK, the SEP is a groundbreaking initiative which introduces entrepreneurial skills to the classroom setting. Given 'seed capital' at the start of the project, the pupils have the opportunity to come up with creative and resourceful ways of making money. Furthermore, by having access to an entrepreneurial business model and professional advice, pupils will learn invaluable marketing, finance and commercial skills in a practical setting.

The SEP also provides pupils with a wider social education, as all profits are donated to HOPEHIV, an international charity working with children who have been orphaned by the HIV/AIDS pandemic in sub-Saharan Africa. UK pupils will discover how their creativity, determination and talent, forms an integral part of a process that HOPEHIV believes is the key to reversing the fortunes of some of the most vulnerable and disadvantaged children in the world.
