The HOPEHIV website is designed to work with the widest possible range of browsers and platforms. However, to make the most of your visit, it is advisable to use a recent version of a browser, such as Netscape Navigator 4.5 (or later) or Internet Explorer 4.0 (or later).
The brower will need to support HTML 4.0 and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS1)
Javascript needs to be enabled.


Best displayed on 800x600 pixels and above screen resolution.

The downloads on this site are PDFs or Microsoft Word documents.


If you are having difficulty accessing our website, the following information might be helpful to you.


I find a mouse difficult to use. How can I navigate around www.hopehiv.org?


You can use the arrow keys on your keyboard which will help you with scrolling up and down a page. You can also jump from the top to the bottom of the pages using the page up and page down buttons. You can navigate your way around to selected areas of our site using your keyboard.


I don’t have Microsoft Word or Adobe Reader to read your pdfs or other downloads. What can I do?


If you do not have Microsoft Word you can download a free Microsoft Word viewer from www.office.microsoft.com  (Online File Converters and Viewers).


If you do not have access to Adobe Reader you can download it from the Adobe website at www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/ , or you can email info@hopehiv.org  and we will send you the document in another format.


 


Print publications for visually impaired


HOPEHIV publications are available in different formats aside from in print and so if you would like to request any of our publications in other formats please contact info@hopehiv.org or phone us on 020 8288 1196.


I cannot read the text as it is too small – how can I change it?


If you are using a PC, follow these simple instructions:


• Netscape Navigator: Go to View in your browser and select Increase font from the drop down menu.


• Internet Explorer: Go to View in your browser and then click Text size and select the size you require from the drop down list.



 

If you are using an Apple Mac, follow these simple instructions:


• Netscape v4: Go to the Edit menu and select Preferences , then Appearances, then Fonts. Here you can use the drop down menus to set your font size.


• Internet Explorer and Netscape v.7: Go to the View menu and select Text Zoom (or Text size). You can increase or decrease your font size by clicking on larger and smaller or by using the percentage range given.
