THE PROCLAIMERS
(Cos I would walk 500 miles ...) Five hunky lads, divided by geography, united by one common goal of scenic and worthwhile self-torture, are going to yomp some of the country's finest hills to support the fabulous charity that is HOPEHIV and the awesome work they are doing.
TEAM PREPARATIONS
| 23-24 May |
TRAINING
- Jon and Theo's training adventures. We completed about 3/4 of the route, including Crib Goch in some shocking conditions, beautiful sunshine (briefly), then dense cloud on the Glyders. We were weary, but happy and muchj wiser about what awaits us. The next day, we sprinted up the final major ascent and back down, just for the joy of it.

D-DAY
- Supporters are welcome. We're driving up on Friday to be in Bangor before 7 pm. Then we start at silly o'clock the next morning and will be on the hills for a considerable length of team. Come and meet us at our checkpoints, or even walk the hills to say hello!

our fundraising
We'll be updating the JustGiving page shortly, but feel free to start giving.
This is a really good cause, we're hurting ourselves to complete the challenge, all the money will go to the charity as we've paid for the cost of the challenge, and you can claim Gift Aid - go on, you know you want to!
team photos
Jon and Theo's training at the end of May - note the gratuitous HOPEHIV t-shirt shots, but the colour is lovely!
A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO CLICKS DIGITAL SOLUTIONS (www.clicks-ds.co.uk) FOR PRINTING THESE BEAUTIFULLY FOR OUR HEROES AND VILLAINS FUNDRAISING EVENT. VERY MUCH APPRECIATED - THANKS GUYS!!!

team videos
W orking on uploading these - should have sound as well, although all you can hear is wind!

We see hope in The Proclaimers.
"Half of us rowed together at university and the rest of us know each other through mutual friends in London. We all like a good challenge and wanted a new running event [Running? Are you sure? - Ed.]. We're supporting HOPEHIV because they are passionate about helping children orphaned or affected by AIDS."
Find us on...
